Strikes planned on Merseyrail in the long running dispute over guards on trains have been called off so talks can continue.
Members of the Rail, Maritime and Transport union were due to walk out on September 30 and October 2 and 4.
A series of meetings and safety workshops have been held, and more talks will take place in the coming weeks.

The union said progress is being made, with two options now on the table.
