Jacob Hampson’s set up is a 4×6 baseboard with scenics on and a 2×1 “fiddle yard” board.
It’s a train care depot which specialises in the Class 15x and Class 14x second generation DMUs predominantly based off the South West region but the odd High Speed Train does show up every now and then (despite a full set definitely not fitting!).
The era for this layout is anywhere from 1997 to 2015, starting out with Wales & West, Wessex Trains and First Great Western passenger units with the odd visit from freight locomotives like Class 47, 60, 66 and more from a variety of companies like Loadhaul, Transrail and EWS.

The depot has two roads for caring for the DMUs, cleaning and watering. A wheel lathe road and headshunt which is what I use as an excuse to run anything on the depot as it’s also fitted with thirdrail!
