We asked Rail Express readers to share some of their rail photography from this week. Here are some of our favourites!
Craig Munday
This stunning photo comes from Craig Munday on Twitter. Craig said: “True blue: the Midland Pullman HST set with power cars 43046/047 adds a majestic splash of colour to a rather scorched landscape west of Grampound Road.”
Craig lives in Cornwall with his wife Clare and daughters Katie and Abby. He works for Network Rail in operations. You can follow him on Twitter, where he regularly shares his photography: @CraigMunday1

Paul Stanford FCIRO
We loved this photo from Paul Stanford, who shared his thanks for a lovely day on Monday with Mid Hants Railway, also known as the Watercress Line. Paul said that they had created a lovely pre-1970s ambience, and that the staff, stations and gardens were all a solid 10/10!
Paul has been a career railman for 40 years, including heritage rail to upgrades and operations. Paul is also passionate about promoting good mental health for the railway family, and he and his wife Fiona set up Head-shunt, a voluntary organisation which aims to promote mental health awareness, help the railway family understand how and where to get support, and to break the mental health stigma. You can read more about Head-shunt here and follow Paul on Twitter: @PJSRail.
Finbarr O’Neill
Finn sent us a brilliant photo for last week’s round up, and he’s back with another stunner this week. Finn’s photo shows the lineup at Kings Cross Monday morning, including the repainted LNER 91105 on the 0833 to Leeds.
Finn is based in East Cork, Ireland and regularly shares his rail photography on his Twitter – give him a follow here!
Thank you to everyone who shared their pictures with us this week – we loved seeing them! If you would like to be featured next week, share your rail photography on social media and give us a tag!
